"An incredible find in Kagawong in Manitoulin Island. The Carter House is elegant while also being comfortable and relaxed. The room are beautifully restored, spotlessly clean with luxurious bedding. The breakfast offered a ton of choices and was always delicious. Kelly is a wonderful host and makes you feel at home as soon as you step through the door.
Kagawong has some hiking trails and other attractions. Its also an easy drive away for other towns, making the Carter House a central location for travelling around Manitoulin."

Breakfast
Delicious breakfast is served between 7:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Freshly brewed coffee, tea, juice and pastries will await you upon awakening in the formal dining room or veranda. If it so happens that your day begins prior to your 7:45 a.m., arrangements for an earlier serving, or on-the-go option, will be made for your convenience.
Adults-Only
Our adults-only (18+) bed and breakfast offers a serene and sophisticated retreat tailored specifically for adult guests seeking relaxation and tranquility.
Garden
The grounds are surrounded by flowering black locust trees, lilac bushes, ferns, periwinkles and more with a tranquil canal running through the back of the property. The mature gardens can all be enjoyed while sitting on the veranda. You may even experience a visit by a white-tailed deer or two.
